Çanakkale Onsekiz Mart University's Special Education Teacher training program was established in 2007 within the Faculty of Education, Department of Special Education, and as of the 2020-2021 academic year, our Department has started to provide undergraduate education in the Special Education Teaching program. One of the most important goals of our department, which will serve to train Special Education Teachers through the Department of Special Education Mentally Disabled Undergraduate Program, is to monitor scientific developments in the field of special education, conduct research, produce, use and disseminate information. Our graduates of Çanakkale Onsekiz Mart University Special Education Teaching Program work as "Special Education Teachers" in public and private primary and secondary education institutions affiliated to the Ministry of National Education, special education schools, training and practice schools, business schools and training centers, rehabilitation centers, Guidance and Research Centers. is employed as. Graduates can also take on positions such as teaching, principal and assistant principal in public and private schools affiliated with the Ministry of National Education, or they can work as inspectors in their own fields.
